A sun-washed identity for an Izakaya in Ibiza

Urusai is the latest Japanese restaurant by Silencio in Ibiza, created in collaboration with the team behind Ojii restaurant in Paris. Nestled in the picturesque Cala Moli cove, this spot embodies the perfect beach house vibe.
Borrowing from Japanese influences, and mediterranean sun washed graphics, the visual identity we created oscillates between traditional and disruptive. We sourced mismatched plates and cutlery to reference the rich archaeological heritage of the island and anchoring it in an authentic atmosphere. The waiters' uniforms are second-hand vintage military gear from BRUT Paris, screenprinted and modified with custom graphics.
